Introduction to our Dit Da Jow

Dit Da Jow is commonly known in martial arts circles for its ability to help heal bruises to muscle and bone faster. Anyone who studies any kind of iron body training will discover some form of Jow to aid in recovery. Many families have their own version of Jow that have been passed down for generations. I have have been working on my version of Jow for twelve years before creating a version I feel suites the needs of the average person looking to treat pain, and heal bruising. My Jow can still effectively be used for martial arts training, but I have made some changes to it. Most Jow comes in a fluid form that must be adsorbed by the skin, or the body part you're looking to heal needs to be soaked in it.

To make the powerful properties of our Jow easier to use, I have created a gel form that can be applied to the area your looking to heal with no fluids that can make a mess. I have also created a lotion form my Jow for very minor bruises that can help heal bruised skin while aiding in hydrating it. Jow has been seen as a mystical topical medicine of the that can heal and repair damage to the human body quickly and naturally. Renowned by Chinese martial artists for centuries before being introduced to the rest of the world, this natural plant based medicine contains pain relief and healing properties that became as legendary as the warriors who used it.

What is Dit Da Jow

Jow is a topical formula based on herbs, and sometimes animal or insect constituents. Our Jow contains no animal or insect derived ingredients if that is a concern you might have. Jow is commonly used to relieve musculoskeletal pain, facilitate healing of the injured location, but you should avoid using on broken skin to prevent skin irritation. Jow is traditionally a liniment formula, which uses water and alcohol as a base from which ingredients are decocted over time. The liniment can be anywhere from a yellow to a deep reddish brown depending on the herbs used.

Jow existed in a time where medicines had to be prepared fresh, or made in such a way that would retain potency and strength. High alcohol content was one way to provide antibacterial properties as well as preserve the Jow. The Jow would be agitated in its the container periodically to help improve its potency This can move, or break up ingredients which provides more surface area for the water and alcohol to make contact.

The magic behind our jow

Our Jow recipe contains an herbal blend of warm spices and oils to help increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation. Traditionally there wouldn’t be much in the Jow that you would ‘feel’ immediately. First time Jow users tend to expect some sort of localized feeling to take place at the applied area such as a tingle, numbness, or heat. Because of this lack of stimulus, Jow doesn’t get the attention it deserves. To help people not get discouraged while trying Jow out for the first time, we have added menthol to ours. This means you will feel where the Jow has been applied, and that the menthol will help mask any pain while the other ingredients get a chance to go to work.

Now let’s talk about the energy of the herbs that are in our Jow. This may sound a little witchy if you're not into this sort of thing. I wont get into the specific ingredients in our Jow sense it is a proprietary blend, but we do use a lot of warm oils and spices that carry energies that align with prosperity, protection, and fortune. We want you to heal and recover quickly when using our Jow, and we love the fact such energies are held within our Jow while you are using it.
